Experience in Mediation

• Chern Yang was one of the youngest to be appointed as a Principal Mediator of the Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) and International Mediator of Singapore International Mediation Centre (SIMC). Accredited as Certified Mediator by the International Mediation Institute (IMI) and the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI). In 2015, Chern Yang was awarded the Outstanding Court Volunteer (Advocate and Solicitor) by the State Courts of Singapore in recognition of his mediation work. The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific 2019 edition has praised Chern Yang as a “strategic thinker” and Benchmark Litigation 2024 recognised him as a Future Star. He is currently Chair of the Law Society of Singapore Mediation Committee.
