In the areas of foreign direct investment and merger and acquisitions, Mr. Chen has assisted scores of companies and institutions from North America, Europe and Asia in industries including telecommunications, construction and construction management, automobile, aviation, manufacturing, biomed and high tech. He has extensive experience in handling strategic planning, high level negotiations, documentation and legal compliance relating to the full scope of matters in which foreign entities engage in China. Mr. Chen has provided legal services for many Chinese companies in their overseas investments, merger and acquisitions, including strategic structure planning, compliance issues for foreign investments under Chinese law, negotiations, documentation and coordination with foreign law firms and other agents. Mr. Chen has experience in intellectual property rights protection and enforcement and has successfully handled many infringement and counterfeit cases involving administrative procedures and court proceedings. He has served as a counsel for IPR enforcement to giant entertainment companies and television stations from China, the United States, Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong.
